Volunteer Openings

As you become a new member or renew your membership, one of the best ways to get connected and to make new friends is to become involved in something beyond just our monthly meeting. You've heard many of us talk about friendships established by joining a Friendship Group, meeting new people at our Annual Retreat, and spending time working side by side with other members at one of our monthly workshops.

Another great way to get involved is to volunteer for one of our events and activity planning teams or to serve on a committee. We have several current opportunities for you to consider.

  1. Guild Photographer - Each month at Sharing we see so many amazing projects completed by our members. We want to capture photos of these so we can publish them for others to see in both our newsletter and on our website. We need a photographer who can use  her own tablet or camera phone to take pictures each month.
  2. Tech Support and Newsletter Assitance - If you are interested and skilled in technology we need your help in supporting other members with accessing our website information and communication and with the production of our monthly newsletter. If you are familiar with websites and other online forums, this could be the job for you!
  3. Bus Trip Committee - Debbie Timmons and Nancy Hansen have had to step away from their leadership of the Bus Trips but they have left behind an amazing binder of information and supplies to allow the next team to step right in. If you'd like to see our Bus Trips to Quilt Shows and other events continue, perhaps you can consider this role.
