FUN AND FACES AT OUR FEBRUARY WORKSHOP

Our February workshop featured Jean Impey who taught us how to make her famous portrait wallhangings.  Everyone at the workshop completed two wall hangings, ready to quilt and embellish at home.  Jean began the workshop by explaining that every portrait needs a back-story and showed us several of her wallhangings with each lady's personal history.  The sold-out crowd had a great time swapping scraps and telling stories about the ladies in the portraits they were creating.  

Grand Country Quilters was our gracious host for this workshop.  We enjoyed exploring their new workshop and modern quilting space.
