PRESIDENTS’ LETTER JULY 2022
Here’s hoping you all have exciting plans for the upcoming 4th of July weekend! We have some exciting plans here at El Camino Quilters as well. In August we are planning our first bus trip in 3 years. We are going to the Long Beach International Quilt Show. Please consider joining us. We have room for you and a friend. We have a lot of other fun activities, meetings and workshops coming up, so check them out in this newsletter and mark your calendars so you don’t miss a thing.
Speaking of marking your calendar, you will need to put a note to yourself that as of our September 13 silent auction, we will be changing our location. Our silent auction and our October, November and December guild meetings of this year will be held at The Fields Church, 2265 Camino Vida Roble, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
We have very much enjoyed using the facilities at Faith Community Church, but the church now needs the space for a new school that will be starting in September. The church has kindly arranged with The Fields Church for a temporary place for us to meet while we look for a new, more permanent home. The Fields Church is just a couple of miles away from our current venue, and we will include a map in our September newsletter.
If you know of a facility that would be able to accommodate our large guild (we are close to 200 people), please let Nancy Feder know. She is our facilities chairperson and will be working on finding us a new home. She can be reached by
