President's Letter - March

Hello Quilters and Happy March!

In like a lion and out like a lamb? or is it the other way around? Whatever the weather brings our way it seems like it is always a good time to be a quilter. If stormy weather forces us inside, we can cozy up under a warm quilt or make a new one. And if sunny weather is in the forecast, the outdoors beckons us with all the beauty and color of Spring to become our inspiration for yet another project!

I am delighted to welcome new and renewing members to the official start of our Guild Year. We're so happy that many of you came prepared with your checkbooks and forms completed and were able to handle all the paperwork at our last meeting. Our fantastic membership team will look forward to  seeing the rest of you at the March meeting to join us for another year as North San Diego County's premier Quilt Guild.

If you are brand new to the Guild, be sure to make a reservation to attend our Newcomer's Welcome Tea coming up in April....we want to get to know you  better.

The year is off to an amazing start with full house attendance at our General meetings and record setting participation in our Crayon Guild Challenge. Our workshops continue to be a popular monthly event and Jean Impey's fun Fabulous Faces sold out in February.  Remember, that until the end of March,  you can sign up for any 2023 workshop and benefit from discounted pricing.

Be sure to read through our  complete newsletter for information about a variety of ways you can participate in all the Guild has to offer and volunteer opportunities that may suit your interests.

I'll look forward to seeing you at our March meeting.

Warmly,

Susan Stanchfield
