SILENT AUCTION AND MEGA SALE

Our HUGE fundraiser is coming up on September 13, 2022.

It will be held at Faith Community Church from 9:30-noon in lieu of our regular meeting. We need everyone’s help to make it a success so we are calling on all members to participate. This is a great way to fulfill your volunteer obligation and have fun too!

Remember those great speakers and programs and workshops that happen all year long? We want to continue to bring all these experts month after month, but we can’t do that with just membership dues alone.

This Silent Auction and Mega Sale will be open to the public, free of charge. This is designed to extend our reach into the broader community, let others know about our Guild, and to highlight our philanthropy to local charities.

And, the more buyers we can have at the sale, the more items we will sell!

Please check in at the Silent Auction/Ways and Means table at the next guild meeting to sign up to help or to donate items. Are you good at asking for free stuff?

We invite you to approach local small businesses and ask for donations: nail salons and spas; coffee shops and restaurants. You can assure the donors that they will receive a mention in our event publicity.

Your donations are not just limited to quilt related items. The more variety the better! Do you have sports or theatre tickets you can donate?

What about Legoland or Zoo passes?

Perhaps you can donate gift cards for Grocery Stores, Target or Walmart?

Maybe you have a special talent you’d like to offer? Music lessons? A cooking class? Alterations for garments?

Thanks in advance for your support in making this event the biggest fundraiser in our Guild’s history!
