Silent Auction and Mega Sale Report

Wow! What a fantastic event...and one of our biggest fundraisers yet. We collected $9499 in total! 

I'm not even sure where to begin to highlight all of the great things that happened but let me first start by saying  a giant "Thank You". Thank you to the team of volunteers from our Guild who worked for months to make this dream a reality. Thanks to all the members of our Guild Friendship Groups who supplied amazing and tantalizing goodies for the Silent Auction baskets. Thank you to all of you who donated  fabric, notions, and finished products for the sale. Thank you for spreading the word and inviting your friends and neighbors. Thanks to The Fields Church for their amazing support and warm hospitality to us as we held our first meeting in their building. I'd also like to thank our retail donors; Shabby Fabrics, Missour Star Quilt Co., Jordan Fabrics, Laundry Basket Quilts, Inspirations Quilt Shop in Valley Center, Sew Treasured in Temecula, Grand Country Quilters in San Marcos, Pieology Pizzeria and Tommy V's Urban Kitchen and Bar in Bressi Ranch. And, thanks for shopping and buying! Wasn't it fun?

Here are a few interesting facts "By the numbers" that we are celebrating:

We had 146 people in attendance. We had a total of 40 Silent Auction baskets. We had a team of 32 Guild volunteers working behind the scenes before, during and after the event. And, we had 2 new people join our Guild after visiting the event.

And...at least 365 more sleeps until the next Silent Auction and Mega Sale!
