WORKSHOPS UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER 2023

We delivered fifteen quilts to Alexandra Buchannan of the Shoppes at Carlsbad management team for their November 11 Veteran's Day celebration.  The quilts will help in their efforts to build support for our local Operation Homefront Organization. The plan is to have the quilts on display the week leading up to the event. We still need a few individuals who would be willing to attend the November 11th event to sell raffle tickets for our Guild Opportunity Quilt. Special thanks to the Nighthawk Quilters, Daina Katz-Robinson, Jeanette and Tom Blackburn, and all the ladies who were so generous in donating their time and talents creating quilts for the benefit of our Veterans. You will make a difference for many San Diego military families! If you weren't able to participate, please consider checking out Operation Homefront. There are all sorts of events that you can choose to support either as a volunteer or by making a monetary contribution.

FYI - Operation Homefront is an organization that helps military families overcome challenges by connecting them with valued and life-changing programs and family events. These programs address the specific needs of military families, such as short-term and critical financial assistance, long-term stability, and recurring support. By providing this support, Operation Homefront aims to create stronger, more stable and more secure military families.

We have 6 members signed up for the January Workshop. Still room for more sign ups.

Pam Hadfield will visit us in March 2024 and will give her postponed Crazy Xmas Tree workshop.
