FRIENDSHIP CIRCLES

Just an end-of-year update on our guild's Friendship Circles participation.

Our Guild has 12 active groups which have been established for many years.                                                                                                   One group has been active for forty years and several for fifteen or more!

We have three new groups that just started up this year, and they have 43 members total and growing! The new groups include:

                    -a bag/tote group 

                    -the Singer Featherweight Group

                    -an art quilt group.

So we have a total of fifteen groups. Some of the newer groups still have openings and Jeanette and Tom Blackburn are adding an additional meeting day each month to the Featherweight Group. So, if you can't make the meeting on the second Thursday of the month, now you can go to the meeting on the third Wednesday of each month. Or treat yourself and go to both meetings at the San Marcos Senior Center.

I won't have a table at our Holiday party meeting, but please come see me in January if you're interested in finding a group that interests you.  Or let me help you start your own Friendship Circle!
