HOLIDAY PARTY - Celebrating in Style!

What a wonderful time we had at our December Holiday Party on December 13, 2022.

The room looked so sparkly and, it is clear from the colorful and festive party attire on all of you that you know how to celebrate in style!

After conducting a bit of business with the installation of our 2023 Executive Board, we moved on to the fun and games designed to get to know each other better.  Our game of Holiday Human Bingo had everyone moving around to gather new and important information about their fellow quilters.

Did you know that we have SEVERAL members who have lived in another country and we have two members who have twin sisters?  Another exciting fact to discover was how many attendees at our Holiday Party have been a part of ECQ for less than two years. Welcome to the Guild. And I suspect that just about everyone could have signed their name admitting that they simply DON'T have enough fabric!

The information gathering continued as each table played several rounds of "Never have I ever...." It might have been a bit too much "confession" for some but I found it so interesting to discover that someone had never had a manicure...and another member had never ridden on a school bus!

Cece Blankenship led us all down her own memory lane for our Fat Quarter exchange with a story about a family road trip gone wrong....or was it right? or left? I'm surprised she didn't tell us how cross her parents got with all the bickering in the back seat.

Special thanks to the ECQ Executive Board for arranging food, decorations, party favors, games, and the Mug Rug exchange, all as a gift to our membership in celebration of another year of quilting together. And a special thanks to The Fields Church for their warm hospitality and room set up.

Be sure to make plans to attend next year's party on December 12, 2023 at El Corazon Senior Center in Oceanside.
