Just checking in from Kennel Comforters.
We’ve had a productive year with 807 pet beds distributed as well as 83 special beds made for the Escondido Humane Society Wildlife Center and 6 special Christmas themed beds for the Fallbrook Shelter holiday fundraiser.
Our beds go to both the Carlsbad and Bonita locations of the San Diego County Animal Services, the Humane Society in Oceanside and Escondido, Rancho Coastal Humane Society, the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary and, occasionally, even to Camp Pendleton.
We rely on volunteers and donations to make this all possible. These beds provide comfort, warmth and perhaps a sense of home to our furry friends as they wait for their new families.
If you would like to join us, we meet the first Friday and Saturday of every month from 9:30 – 3 or 4 at the North San Diego County Animal Services facility at 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. All supplies are provided. You can find us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/kennelcomforters
